Prime Minister Narendra Modi led a massive roadshow in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday, accompanied by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. This was Modi’s first visit to Andhra Pradesh after assuming office for his third consecutive term in 2024

The roadshow preceded the launch of multiple developmental projects worth over Rs 2 lakh crore, including:

  • South Coast Railway Zone headquarters in Visakhapatnam
  • NTPC Integrated Green Hydrogen Hub at Pudimadaka
  • Rs 1,518-crore Krishnapatnam Industrial Hub
  • Rs 1,877-crore Bulk Drug Manufacturing Park at Nakkapalli
  • Railway track doubling projects between multiple districts2

PM Modi’s Vision
During the public meeting, Modi emphasized Andhra Pradesh’s potential, stating, “Our Andhra Pradesh is a state of possibilities and opportunities. When these possibilities are realised, then only Andhra will develop, and India will become a developed nation.”

The event symbolized the strong partnership between the NDA-led central government and the Andhra Pradesh state government, with a focus on technological advancement and economic growth.
